Cloudless Blue Skies.

Perth’s summer is weird, it’s hot in the day but super cold at night! I did a Mingay, brought too little warm clothes. Haha or rather a REVERSE mingay, cos for Sabah he brought too little thin clothes!

Anyway, shopping here is great :D Bought boots from Billabong for only AUD29, and a pair of dance sneakers for AUD49! Cheap cheap :D

And I miss using the comp :/ Sarah just settled her internet connection today, so finally I feel connected to the rest of the world. Anyway, her campus is SO PRETTYYYY (:

Peacocks and parrots roaming around campus, and the campus is so friggin’ huge. Like the size of 3 RJs! It is really English, reminds me of Harry Potter (:

And I lovelovelove the skies here (: Super blue, and all the photos turn out so nice!

Reunion dinner in about half an hour’s time, I’m waiting for mum to come home so we can head to Sarah’s place together. Got just some time to spare so short post only!

Met Isa for lunch at Bugis, Swenson’s 1-for-1 which is super worth it!! She had to go back to work, so just a quick catch up over lunch. I miss that woman though, haven’t really talked to her much since agessssss go. Rambled on about Sabah to her, haha then we got reminded of our Hongkong trip back in Sec 3! Good times good times :D

Then I went shopping for CNY clothes around the area, bought 2 dresses! Yay very happy :D Had high tea at Food for Thought, Velvet something cake which was.. average :/ Where’s my mango cheesecake when I want it! ):

Oh anyway most of the guys are enlisting this week, don’t know why but I’m kinda excited for them :D Or maybe just to see them go all baldy, haha. Like can you imagine Noi without hair?!

Andand the past weekend was really fun, sleepover with the Sabah gang + midnight horror movie + seafood dinner at Newton Circus + durian feast on Sat, plus picnic dinner at Marina Barrage with the class and Parthe’s chalet on Sunday, and Kbox with the Sabah gang yesterday. Damn happening :D

Okay gotta pack for Perth, flying off this Sat!

Oh ya I watched New York I Love You with LSK today, it’s a pretty artsy but not really that great IMHO. But at least it made me excited for the US trip with Val to visit Erica, can’t wait yayyy :D

HELLO I’M BACK FROM SABAH :D

The past 10 days have been very memorable, one of the most exciting trips ever and filled with lots of activities! The Sabah Groupie consisted of: Yoggi, Noi, Jinkang, Mingay, Parthe, Jiayue & Yours Truly, and having a Males>>Females group had a VERY.BAD. influence on the girls. I think I swore more times within the past 10 days than in my entire life! Tsk. And to think Val congratulated me when I told her that -.-

Okay while waiting for the photos to upload I’ll get on with the trip, in chronological order.

Day 1

When we arrived at the Sabah Airport, it was just like some plain old airport, nothing much. Hungry and bored (cos Jetstar doesn’t provide food & drinks, much less entertainment), we waited outside the airport trying to spot green buses cos  Borneo Global Backpackers (BGB) arranged free airport transfer. Thats when Noi got ticked off by this Malaysian dude, to be polite when you’re travelling, cos that dude said a joke that wasn’t funny and Noi didn’t respond -,- Stupid nitwit! (the dude, not Noi)

Reached our lodge around 3plus, our rooms resembled bangla headquarters BUTTTTT soon the light blue bedsheets and double decker beds became part of us. Haha i somehow loved how messy our room (Jy Jk Mingay Me) was, somehow the other room was way neater than ours. I’ll call our room uh, messy in a neat way? Cos we could still find most of our stuff, most of the time (:

Late lunch followed by some lazing around, then we headed out to some Night Market, had cheap seafood dinner by the beach! Then came funny incident #1, Noi’s chair broke halfway through dinner and he fell into a puddle of water! Dirty smelly lonkang rainwater. Must be karma, boy.

What an apt title, matches perfectly to the episode of events that happened lately.

Is there an adjective to describe that feeling when you feel angry/unappreciated/made used of/disgusted/disappointed? Let me know if you do.

Because, I am not sad. I am _________ (above mentioned adjective).

And to top that off, I am irritated by my sore throat ): Bad bad bad way to start a holiday, especially when you’re going on an expedition! Hope it goes away by Tuesday, reminder to self to stay away from chocolates & fried stuff.

Oh before I end this post, I shall introduce two new members of the family!

Haha we got them from a Guardian sale at Sun Plaza, decided to get matching cousin bears so that come February, ‘Chelsea’ will be in Perth and ‘Sarah’ will be in S’pore. (cos sarah’s leaving for perth to study!)

Just started packing for Sabah, I brought out a supposedly empty luggage from the storeroom and inside it was full of my mum’s old vintage clothes! Mother’s fashion sense is not bad, to say the least (: If only she was smaller sized, alot of them hardly fit.

And Val, I know you’re in Bangkok and by the time you see this I’ll be in Sabah, but anyway I just searched the lyrics of that song.

Sent out applications to random companies, which I’ve a feeling will not reply cos my only work experience is a mere work attachment, which is not even considered proper work. Howells fingers crossed!

Mt Faber date with Val tomorrow, followed by D’s birthday dinner with the Low clan. Looking forward to both :D

Anyway, Sabah trip’s in TEN DAYS! Started exercising and training already, thanks to Nette’s nagging ;) Yesterday was just 70 floors of stair-climbing, stepped up to 3 rounds around the park in front of my house plus the 70. Tiring but I’m glad there’s something to get my butt out of the house, so thumbs up!
